Just dropping a quick update for you all. Miracle is home and says she is feeling great. She has more treatments this week, as I understand it. One of my besties is her homebound teacher, which began this past week. We are making plans for her to possibly skype into the classroom.
Her monkey, featured in the picture, has been attending school daily. The monkey is part of the Monkey in My Chair program. Through donations and sponsors, the charity sends a monkey to school to stand in for children with cancer. The monkey has a backpack, and a book for the teacher to use to explain the challenge facing their classmates. What an amazing program to help the students understand the illness.
Thank you to all who purchased A Miracle for Miracle products. A huge thank you to those of you who sent notes saying you were just donating, and did not need the 31 products. =)
If you made a donation before today, you should have received an email with a link to 2 ZIP files. If you have not, please CHECK YOUR SPAM FOLDERS. I have had a few teachers email me and let me know their's went into spam.
Again, thank you so much for your donations, support, and prayers for Miracle. It is all deeply appreciated!

What an amazing program! I am enjoying going through my 31 activities - they are a STEAL for $25. I hope you sell MANY more!!!
ReplyDeleteKeeping Miracle and her family in my prayers, thanks for the update! I have a student who Facetimes with our class. She still feels involved and part of the class, and the students love still being able to see her as well.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the update. It's fantastic that through technology, Miracle will still feel like part of the classroom. I received my email, but have not had time to open it yet. I feel like I have a Christmas present waiting for me!
ReplyDeleteKeeping Miracle in our prayer circle at school...
